ItalianLeica 3D Experience conference took place at Hilton Roma Airport, in Rome. The 2-day event, held on 17th and 18th June, hosted the User Conference, a whole day dedicated to explore outstanding projects implemented by firms linked to Leica.
Elettric80 was invited to present its 3D Mapping project. The talk covered the topic "Laser scanner and automation: a brand new approach to the building of industrial plants", following the main points of an article published by the official magazine of Hexagon.
Mikhail Giorgini, our colleague of R&D dept, was the one in charge to present the case study. He was recently awarded the title of Doctor by University of Parma, after having completed the PhD programme in Elettric80 jointly with robotics laboratory of UniPR.
