Automatic Pallet Control Systems WOODPECKER

The Woodpecker robot was designed by our E80 Group partner for the automatic control of large volumes of pallets with a small footprint. 
It offers the following advantages:

• It improves the efficiency and safety of the processes;
• It avoids problems in production, during the handling with LGVs and inside the automatic warehouses;
• It prevents damage to the final product; 
• Thanks to the use of the vision technology, it enables to set the minimum dimensions of the defects to consider the pallet as waste;
• It allows to record the results of the controls carried out on each pallet through the special data recording software;
• It guarantees high accessibility, maintainability and availability, thanks to the reduced number of mechanical components.
